Quick book update

Finished 'My Life as a Fake' by Peter Carey - good but not as good as 'Oscar and Lucinda'. Takes yoround Kuala Lumpar and yes fraid to say it Melbourne and uses the ideas of strands of Australian history to weave an intriguing yarn. But Carey's novels just seem to end. No proper conclusion or sense of closure. I am now half way through Anne Tyler's 'Breathing Lessons'... good recommendation a known admirer. Great way of spend hours on a coach - shame the way back was too dark and the coach over head light too weak to compensate...
