I have been in possession of a Blackberry for a year now - but its sole purpose was as a test bed for our developed software email elements via our test email account.
I have not switched it on since April and consequently an Ops guy came to check that I still had it. I did. I do. So I switched it on and charged it up knowing that I would then put back in my desk drawer and forget about it until Christmas again. I mentioned this in passing to my boss.
It has now been altered so it uses my mailbox.
I am now emailable no matter where I am.
I feel slightly perturbed at this thought.
