World Book Day

'Rabbit Redux' - today was talking about 'Nam and slavery - which were both stories on Radio 5 this morning... shame it was Mark P and Gabby L - I want Nicky and Shelagh back! SOON!

Interesing this morning to see who was reading what - bit of Daphne Du Maurier - and oh the Metro.. nevermind.

I remember the metro!!!! That was that free paper that gave me the smudgy fingers (top quality).

Listen mate, neighbours are often uncontrollable, but what I do know is that eventually even they will pass (on).

Keep your head up.

Not only do we have the freebie Metro - in the mornings we have City AM as well and last summer the evenings were infested with the freebie 'London Lite' and 'The London Paper' (there are several ranting posts about this in August I believe).. So you can imagine the amount of paper stacked up on the tubes each morning/night... so much for being green or preventing fire hazards...
Wouldn't mind but there's very little news in the evening papers -just mindless gossip & supposition...
At least I always take mine home and recycle them when I do dare to read....

But mindless gossip and supposition is news, karrona. Welcome to hyper-reality.
