Stage 7
Thank god for ITV4!! Stage 7 of the Tour de France on live from 2pm! The mountains - great to watch. The views - the determination - the sheer fitness and endurance of the men taking part. In total awe. See the 8th stage tomorrow on ITV4 @ 2.30pm! More mountains and a finish line at the top of one... phew.

Am enjoying the Tour so much! Was nearly in tears on Sat watching the German lad - no idea how he kept going.
Although Lance Armstrong was a great rider there was a sense of the inevitable about him winning year in year out, far more exciting when everyone is battling it out.
Ooh on Sunday I really felt for Michael Rogers who went over on one of the descents. Really nasty - had to withdraw when he'd been so on top of the field.
It is without doubt the extremist of sports.
